2010 Utility Fuel Inventory Model (UFIM) Software & User Support Service
EPRI, through member funding developed the Utility Fuel Inventory Model, UFIM, and maintains ownership of the software. Through technology transfer UFIM is widely used in the electric power industry. However the EPRI technology transfer approach has one missing ingredient – continued software maintenance and user technical support. This service fills that gap
Services
Under this set of offered services S.Chapel Assciates:
- provides unlimited telephone technical support to model users at your company,
- fixes software bugs and minor modeling problems,
- as needed, provides web-based training for new UFIM users. The web-based training is very effective – the training was done over five 1 to 1.5 hour sessions),
- maintains an archive copy of the source code.
- maintains an up-to-date UFIM install package,
- maintains expertise on the current applications of the model, and
- maintains an up-to-date knowledge of the source code.
In addition to these services, S.Chapel Asscoiates will, on a cost of service basis, (1) provide on-site training; and, if requested, (2) host an annual user meeting.
